We have successfully upgraded the spam protection on the MCC forums. Hopefully this will keep the majority of spam away for a long time to come.

Most of the updates will largely be unseen to the average user. There are however a couple of changes that I would like to mention.

1. There is a new (and hopefully better) version of captcha. This is the visual confirmation you need to enter during registration to prove you are human and not a robot. The new version is case sensitive ('asdfghkj' is not the same as 'ASDFGHKJ') and has noise added to the image.

2. In order to post a link you are now required to have posted twice. This is to prevent those that register and just post spam links.

I hate spam as the next person does , what about a current phone # to be able to post , spam is every ware , I buy and sell alot on C.L. and
you are spam bombed day in day out . what is the answer ?? One of the big propellers is Google they pay people to spam . I posted a Q here
sometime back and it got kicked out cause it looked like spam , Keep up the good work M.C.C
