To begin, Rick showed Dennis a dash pad replacement. After thirty years of sunlight coming through a windshield, you can bet that there has been some cracking and fading going on. These replacement pads are easy to install and come in all OE colors. Next, Rick points out some replacement instrument bezels for both the standard and deluxe models. All that is needed to make that dash look new is a screwdriver! New scuff plates will definitely enhance the appearance of the floor of that truck, as will factory correct molded carpets and rubber flooring! Over thirty years of use has had to take its toll on window and door handles, and National Parts Depot has those replacement parts as well. Rick goes on to say that headliners are often a neglected part of restoration. NPD has these replacement parts as well as OE door panels from Ford. If you want to go easy on the pocketbook, they stock reproduction panels at about one-half the price of other vendors. Of course those seats will also need some new upholstery.
