Episode #12007
"Aluminum Diamond Plate
Interlocking Floor"
Written by Keith Fudge

Today in Eastwood Garage, Jorgen Moller of RaceDeck joins Dennis to show him the latest technology and products in RaceDeck’s line of floor coverings.  To begin, Jorgen reminds Dennis that RaceDeck has been making their products right here in the U.S.A. since 1974.  These floors look great and are incredibly durable as well!  Their “loop and lock” technology allows the floors to withstand loads of 25,000 lbs.  The channels underneath the tiles allow the floor to breath, thus eliminating any trapped moisture.  One of the best things about a RaceDeck floor is that it installs easily and quickly!  Jorgen said that it only takes two to three hours to assemble the floor for a standard two-car garage.  In addition, there is no mess and no clean up!

So, what’s new at RaceDeck these days?  Well, for the most part they just keep improving the same great product by offering more finishes and different textures.  However, Jorgen did tell Dennis about the new RaceDeck Pro, a polished aluminum, diamond-plate finish with plastic underneath!  This product is great for showing concours vehicles and motorcycles.  As always, you can also mix and match colors and sizes using their regular twelve-inch tiles and the eighteen-inch RaceDeck XL.  In addition, they have improved their Tuffshield process of including any custom logo that you want in the floor, and remember, it is molded in, not just glued to the surface!  They also have a wood-grained finish that is awesome and seventeen other standard colors to choose from!  By the way, you won’t have any trouble finding RaceDeck flooring because there are more than 400 retailers worldwide!  So, if you are all about a new floor that is durable, looks great, and is easy to install, look no further than RaceDeck.  You can find them on the web at www.racedeck.com.  By the way, don’t forget when you are looking for unique automotive tools and supplies for your automobile restoration, you should give the folks at Eastwood a visit at www.eastwood.com.
