"Mopar Interiors"
Written by Keith Fudge

In this segment of Eastwood Garage, Keith Maney of Year One, Inc. shares the spotlight with Dennis.  The talk today is about interior reproduction parts and options for Mopar high-performance cars!

As Dennis and Keith begin, they note that there has been a boom in the classic car restoration industry.  During this time, Mopar performance cars of the 1960s and 1970s have drastically risen in demand.  Dennis also mentions that on cars from this era, those plastic and vinyl interiors have also taken years of abuse from the sun, and in many cases, they are simply disintegrating!  Well, for Mopar fans everywhere, never fear!  Year One now has a complete line of concours quality restoration parts for the interior of your Mopar classic.

To begin, Keith shows Dennis some replacement steering wheels for Mopar performance cars such as the Cuda and Challenger.  These replacements are made by Tuff Wheel and can be used on Chrysler cars from 1970 to 1983.  They feature all leather grips and even come in correct factory colors to match your “sublime” ride!  Keith mentions that these wheels are of the highest quality and are even used on concours quality restorations!  Next, Keith shows Dennis a console door reproduction designed to fit E-body cars (Cuda and Challenger) from 1970-1974.  He also points out a prototype console that is in the works for 1968-1970 B-body cars such as Roadrunners and Satellites.  Next, Keith shows Dennis another part for the ever popular E-Body cars, a dash pad restored to all factory specs.
Finally, Keith and Dennis look at one of the signature features of Mopar performance: the Pistol Grip shifter.  Year One has a variety of levers, handles, and even the lenses to make your Mopar look and shift like new.  In fact, these reproduction levers are made by Hurst and even stamped to look just like the original.  They even have them for bench-seat B-body cars as well.

So there you have it!  Whether you are into rodding or restoring, Year One, Inc. has the parts you need to restore that Mopar back to its glory days.  If you would like to receive a catalog, you can find them on the web at www.yearone.com.  By the way, don’t forget when you are looking for unique automotive tools and supplies for your automobile restoration, you should give the folks at Eastwood a visit at www.eastwood.com.
