3rd Annual Langley, BC Cruise-In

With 1600 vehicles registered and another 1000 or more trying to enter the event, it could be said that the 1999 LANGLEY GOOD TIMES CRUISE-IN was the biggest and best show of its kind on the West Coast.

Since the first Cruise-In, two years ago, the show has doubled each year. The happy crowds, and estimated 100,000 spectators, couldn't believe their eyes when they walked block after block in downtown Langley City. Around every corner and in every parking lot there were hundreds of cars, trucks, military vehicles, dozens of emergency vehicles, vintage fire trucks, police cars, and ambulances.

The 1999 Cruise-In kicked off on the Friday night before with a special event at the Hillcrest Drive-In Theatre. This event was for pre-registered participants only. Tickets went on sale June 15th and 3 weeks later half the tickets were pre-sold. The sold out event was filled with almost 500 vehicles gathering for an evening Rock and Roll, music and prizes. A weekend of a Race Driving Lesson was the major prize.
